Although she is also a teacher of beginner hand building, Nada Boner is truly passionate about creating her own organic ceramic sculpture.  Nada is influenced by the people and the world around her.  She aspires to capture a humorous glimpse of the human spirit - a story told through the figurative art form. 

This Birmingham artist works with earth tone clay bodies in their natural form.  Her art shows a crude vitality with little or no glaxe on the completed sculpture.  Nada is known for her work with Raku - a reduction glaze technique that relies on the extremes of nature's elements (fire, air, and water) to create the effect on her work; each piece is unique and impossible to duplicate.
